The journalist, educator, and activist Colman McCarthy once said, “Unless we teach our children peace, some one else will teach them violence.” We all understand that children are uniquely susceptible to the messages of the world around them. Children who grow up in homes where there is domestic violence have a much greater chance of growing up to be violent themselves.
