History Behind PEACE AND LIFE® Pendant
This world has gone through some dark, tough times, that will be etched in history forever. From WWII and the Holocaust, to Osama bin Laden and September 11, 2001, devastating times like these bring fear and confusion into the world. During historical times, our founder of PEACE AND LIFE® Pendant fought to allow girls on the boys high school tennis team, and marched for civil rights in college. Living in fear around the time of JFK and Martin Luther King, Jr. assassinations, she had her passport and savings with her, ready to leave. Life got back to normal as a working mom, serving as a lawyer. Once 9/11 happened, she jotted down arms going upward on a piece of paper. That, plus a biblical symbol of life, with the arms going downward inside of a peace sign, a new symbol was born. A few weeks later, a local jeweler created our first pendant, called PEACE AND LIFE®. Comfort and understanding was felt by wearing this pendant with pride, and it instilled the realization that one individual that believes in peace and life can change the world into a better place!
