The Story Behind The Symbol
At PEACE AND LIFE, we believe in this mission statement. This jewelry was meant to spread the word of peace and the joy of life. By doing these things, we are spreading the message that everyone is of worth and life really does matter.
PEACE AND LIFE was created by a woman who was constantly scared of the world. With wars and terrorist attacks, like 9/11, she was looking for answers. When no answers were found in the textbooks or law books, she scribbled this symbol on a scrap sheet of paper. The peace sign had arms facing upward like an invitation to join. A biblical symbol, meaning life, was drawn within the peace sign with arms facing down. After staring at this symbol, she found comfort in this sign. So, with a leap of faith, she took it to a jeweler and had a pendant created so that others can find comfort in this too. We believe that one person believing in peace and life can change the world, and so should you!
