This world is crazy. Let’s be honest. The older we get, the more we look back on our time on earth and wonder how we ever made it through. Peace and Life are something we should all be aspiring to achieve. The fact of the matter is, bad things happen. We can’t always control those things. So what can we do? How can we make a difference? At PEACE AND LIFE we are convinced that even if one person is believing in Peace and Life, it can change the world! Therefore, we offer up a symbol of our beliefs onto a beautiful pendant/necklace. By buying and wearing this pendant/necklace, you can make a true change. Not only will you be promoting peace and life, you will also be giving back to our veterans who have fought for the freedom we enjoy in this country.
The PEACE AND LIFE® Pendant
The creator of this symbol and pendant probably had never dreamed of turning it into what it is today. While conflicted with the world’s terrors and the devastating news of 9/11, she scribbled this symbol down on a piece of paper. Within her small circle, she drew a delicate peace sign with arms facing up like a hug. Additionally, she drew a biblical symbol for life with arms facing down. Keeping this spontaneously drawn out scrap sheet of paper with her, she realized that this tiny little drawing gave her hope. Hope for a better tomorrow and better future for the world. The pendant created out of this drawing is meant to be a source of comfort and hope that everyone can share. However, that’s not where this journey ends.
Spirit of Huntington Art Center
While the PEACE AND LIFE® pendant continues to spread hope throughout our country, we thought it was important to partner with an organization that is doing the same thing! Spirit of Huntington Art Center is a nonprofit organization that provides children with special needs and Veterans the opportunity for art and creative expression that can transform their lives. We want to thank all of our gracious veterans and let them know that they have our everlasting gratitude. Their heroism and sacrifice is what makes hope for our future so great. For this reason, a portion of all the proceeds at PEACE AND LIFE are donated to Spirit of Huntington Art Center.
