Waking up and getting out of bed. Pouring coffee. Reading the newspaper. Watching the news. Checking the mail. Driving to work. Doing yoga at the gym. Singing songs at church. Hanging out with friends. Going on vacation. Staying at home alone. Reading the bible. Attending a Bar Mitzvah. These are all daily occurrences that people may experience in the free world, all by just stepping foot on US soil. Living in the US means that you have the freedom to pursue your happiness. It is literally within our rights to follow our dreams! How do we deserve such an opportunistic life? Well, freedom is free right?
We’ve all heard the saying, “land of the free because of the brave.” We are free because our veterans fought for our freedom. Their blood, sweat, and tears keep our family safe so that we can walk the dog, check the score of the game on our iPhone, and practice whatever religion we choose. On behalf of PEACE AND LIFE, we would like to thank our veterans, not just on Veteran’s Day, but every single day, for putting their lives on the line to make a difference in the world.
