When you think of our war heroes, do you think of a tattooed DJ with spiked up hair ready to tear up the dance floor? Do you think of a muslim woman that adorns her hijab to show modesty every time she is in public? What about a precious couple holding their baby and giggling with her as she gets ready for preschool? Chances are, none of these images crossed your mind at first. However, the reality that our veterans are real people, leading real lives must be recognized and should be proudly displayed more often! Veterans are civilians too!
